Terms of Service
Effective October 1, 2026 (plan limits updated for Elite; solve retention added September 14; first version August 11, 2026)
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bomb Pot Solver website at www.bombpotsolver.com and the Bomb Pot Solver application at app.bombpotsolver.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Bomb Pot Solver ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Bomb Pot Solver is a study and training tool for double board bomb pot poker. It computes and displays game-theory strategies, lets you practice hands against them, and grades decisions you made in practice hands or in hand histories you import. The Service offers no real-money gambling, no wagering, and no way to play poker against other people. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or integrated with any poker site or card room.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account, to keep your login credentials private, and not to share an account between people. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a monthly or annual cycle. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. If we change a plan's price, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will notify you before it does. Prices are stated in US dollars. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
4. Refunds
If you are unhappy with your first subscription purchase, email billing@bombpotsolver.com within 7 days of that first payment and we will refund it in full. After that, refunds are at our discretion, but if something is broken on our end we will make it right.
5. Plan limits and solve credits
Free accounts have daily usage limits. Library includes one full-depth hand grade a month. Pro and Elite plans include a monthly allowance of custom solve credits; a standard custom solve uses one credit, and larger tables, deep accuracy or bigger bet trees use more, always shown in the quote before you submit. Unused credits do not roll over and have no cash value. We may apply reasonable technical limits to keep the solve queue fair for everyone.
6. Acceptable use
The Service is for studying away from the table. You agree not to:
- use the Service for real-time assistance while playing poker anywhere. This violates the rules of virtually every poker site and card room, and we do not support or condone it;
- scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute solutions, reports, or any other part of the Service;
- reverse engineer the software, probe or disrupt the servers, or attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
- share one account between multiple people or create accounts to evade plan limits.
7. Your content
Hand histories you import remain yours. You grant us the limited right to store and process them to provide grading, statistics, and related features to you. We do not publish your imported hands.
Your solves stay in your library while you subscribe: 2-6 player solves always, and up to 30 full-ring solves at a time (you can pin the ones that matter). 90 days after a subscription ends, its solves are deleted.
8. Intellectual property
The software, solutions, interface, and content of the Service belong to us. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own poker study, and nothing more.
9. No guarantee of results
Solver output consists of computational estimates produced under simplifying assumptions, and poker involves chance. We make no promise that using the Service will improve your results or that any strategy shown is optimal for your game. Nothing in the Service is financial advice.
10. Availability and warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it; maintenance, upgrades, and outages happen.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits at or away from the poker table.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@bombpotsolver.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; if we terminate a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of the current period.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will post the new version here and note it in the app. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
